An Unexpected Gift
Yesterday, I was talking about needing to actually buy work shoes. I usually end up with shoes, leggings, or whatever clothing I’m in need of just as I need it! God’s provision in our lives seems to always show up!
For instance, when I first started working at the gym, I lived in two long skirts and one pair of jeans… not gym apparel! One of my family members gave me a bag with four workout shorts that matched the uniform shirts I’d just gotten. She didn’t even know I had just started a job needing workout clothes! God’s amazing timing!
Back to today. This day. A friend showed up at gym while I was heating up Thea and Laud’s lunch and left a pair of shoes with the floor manager – she came in and said, “…she just left you some shoes up front.”
Men’s 10. My size. I’m so thankful! I love how God moves on our hearts and to have us help others! I wondered as I tried them on. Perfect. I wonder how many times God has used me to pass something on that someone else may have just needed.
God is everywhere. We just have to look to see Him. He always sees us. Sometimes little things in life make us smile and know that God sees. Sometimes it’s big like property or a house or a new pet or healings… today it was a new pair of perfect shoes for work!
I’m so thankful for friends who love us enough to pass stuff along! I’m so thankful for God’s provision! Thank you, my friend, you made me so happy and thankful with your perfectly timed gift!
