Family Fun Days
Family Fun Days
November 17, 2024
There is so much I’m thankful for. At the top of the list is family. The Pearson clan gets together for Thanksgiving each year the week before. It’s fun, feasting (only a little over too much food this time around – there was a little restraint), and family.
My crew was 11x and we had 4x vehicles with kiddos as passengers. I drove one with Louis, Becca, Lucas, Thea, and Laud. Mom had Jillian, Anastasia, and Tubberson. Christina came up later with Kimberly, Jaquline, and Dylan. Rebeccah came in a plane.
Our quaint air bnb was perfect! It had 4 beds, 2 bathrooms (2x bathrooms!!) and was a beautiful 10 minute drive to Katy’s.
Katy made my mom an amazing cake with espresso icing and sea salt caramel – it was fabulous!
In our air bnb, we spent Saturday early morning cooking and laughing. Accidentally forgot to check on the pies as temperatures are different in each oven… broke a pie pan… discovered we didn’t bring butter… laughed and had fun!
Met my baby nephew!! Fell in love with the veiws and open airy layout of my sister’s gorgeous cabin home. Played volleyball, laughed in the kitchen with my sisters, chatted with brothers, ate lovely food, and enjoyed our family time!
I’m so thankful for our family! I’m so thankful for Katy and Andy graciously opening their home for our ever-growing brood! I’m so thankful for food, laughter, firepits, marshmallows, babies, volleyball, and love!
I hope you have an amazing Thanksgiving season! I love how all of this leads me to praising God for the amazing blessings He’s gifted us! From a gorgeous Florida sunrise to mountain sunset, a mountain sunrise, and a Florida sunset to precious children growing up in our family! Watching my little neices and nephews grow is such a gift!
Choose gratitude. I choose gratitude. I choose joy. I choose love! Thank you, Jesus, for our amazing family and the love you’ve given us! Three generations of love in one home! My dreams? My children growing up close to their aunts, uncles, and cousins… thank you, Jesus!
