Thankful for Theadora!
Okay, I know, singling out one kiddo… but when eight is enough (who remembers that movie?) you have to focus on one at a time! WHO am I kidding? (not myself) I’ve had to fight to focus on one at a time since there were two! It’s been a fight for me NOT to multi-task and choose to actually focus on one kid at a time since it was just me nursing an infant Christina! It might be a side effect of my brain being like a computer with 28 tabs open and some music from somewhere singing in my brain making some part of my body move to that unheard rhythm…
Back to the topic.
Christina sent me this picture from Thanksgiving at Louis’ Mom’s family. Hosted by my amazing brother and sister in love, Brian and Michelle Tart, it was a “farmful” of food, fun, and crazy cousin antics.
Football in the front yard and then Thea’s faces. I can’t. I seriously question how I didn’t see this coming… wait, we had a glimpse in The Faces of Thea from when she was younger. I just can’t. This girl has so much Thea inside of her. Her personality totally fits her choice of shirt (it reads “The One and Only”). It’s a beloved hand-me-down that Lucas fit like a second skin before I convinced him it needed to be passed down – by then it was Thea’s size (she only has had it a few weeks).
I’m thankful for my God; for the love He’s given me and amazing grace that saved me. I’m thankful for my family; for life together, for our wonderful memories, for the future games, gatherings, and growth. I’m thankful for trees and air and light and electricity and everything that builds together to make this beautiful Earth and exciting life!
And I’m thankful for the 5-year-old full of personality which my 21-year-old just happened to catch in a series of photos.
Thank you, God, for my amazing life!
Type at your next time!
